After years as a world leader in the production of Boronic Acids, Optima Chemical Group, LLC has now scaled up production of a Suzuki Coupling compound in our 250-gallon pilot plant. The Palladium catalyzed cross coupling was done using 4-Fluorophenylboronic Acid (produced at our facility), with 2-Bromothiophene to yield 2-(4-Fluorophenyl)thiophene. This reaction can be seen below.

Optima now looks forward to expanding our offerings for manufacturing services in this area and becoming a 'one-stop' provider for not only Boronic Acids, but also biaryls and other cross-coupled compounds.
